IELTS

TOEFL iBT

Managed by ETS (a U.S. organization).

  • Format: 100% Computer-based
  • Speaking Section: Recorded via microphone
  • Primary Acceptance: USA (highly preferred), Global

IELTS (International English Language Testing System)

The IELTS is required for admission to colleges, employment, or international relocation. It is accepted by over 9,000 organizations in 145 countries.

  • Validity: 2 years.
  • Scoring: Results are provided on a band scale from 1 (lowest) to 9 (highest). There is no "pass" or "fail" grade.
  • Modules: Candidates choose between Academic (for university) or General Training (for residency/work).

TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language)

The TOEFL iBT is an academic-focused exam often required for business schools, universities in the United States, and participation in international internship programs. It is also used by many employers as a condition for employment.

  • Validity: 2 years.
  • Results: Scores are available in your ETS account 3 days after your test date. If requested, a paper copy will be mailed 11-15 days after your test date.
  • Format: A computer-based test focusing on classroom-style English.

TOEFL iBT

Preparation Course

TOEFL iBT Test Structure (1-6 Scale)

Total time: ~2 hours. Candidates receive four section scores plus an overall score on the 1-6 scale. For a two-year transition period after January 2026, students also receive a comparable overall score on the legacy 0-120 scale.
