The teacher draws everyone into role plays and discussions, runs surveys and quizzes, and brings out board games, so the whole hour stays in motion.

Building monologues and dialogues gives you a wider vocabulary, idioms and sentence structures, and trains you to use them actively rather than just recognise them.
Everyday and formal situations
Alongside everyday conversation the teacher trains presentation skills, so you are confident whether the situation is casual or formal.

I have been taking Latvian from Pygmalion for the past few months, both remotely and in person. I fell behind in my first class, and was able to pick up a following class without any difficulties. The teachers are experienced and passionate about teaching. My classmates are a mixture of backgrounds, my current class being composed of both Russian and English speakers, the teacher speaking all three. The classes require serious homework and study - but I think it is well worth the effort. The cost of the class seems very reasonable to me, the location is good and classes are held at a variety of days, evenings, workdays and on weekends, both in person and remotely.
At the moment (based on my personal experience), this is one of the best language schools. I’ve lived in Latvia for 11 years and have taken language courses at seven different organizations during this time. With Pygmalion, I had the most interesting experience

Пошла учить английский по купонам от NVA, увидела, что в этой школе быстрее всего формируется группа и записалась, чтобы быстрее начать обучение. После оформления мне сразу позвонили и уведомили, что я записалась на уровень, который слишком низкий для меня, исходя из результатов теста. Объяснили, что и как сделать, чтобы записаться в другую группу. Все материалы предоставили - была возможность выбрать электронный или печатный вариант, я выбрала печатный и получила классную распечатанную копию учебника, оформленную в папку. Само обучение проходило онлайн. Это первый мой опыт и оказалось, что это очень удобно! Данная школа предоставляет доступ к записи занятия, поэтому, если ты не мог присутствовать на занятии, то у тебя есть возможность просмотреть его позже и ничего не упустить! Преподавателем у нас была Лолита, которая ОЧЕНЬ доступно доносит материал и повторяет и объясняет сложные моменты дополнительно, если вдруг что-то всё же забылось или прошло мимо мозга. С ней учиться было легко и весело, хотелось бы попасть к ней и на другие уровни. Вообще вся коммуникация с командой Pygmalion была очень приятной и позитивной. Здесь учат не просто чтобы поставить галочку в отчёте о том, что студенты прошли курс, а для того, чтобы знания были усвоены и остались в голове! Так что я с радостью вернусь именно сюда! Только что завершила обучение на курсе английского языка для взрослых, уровень Upper Intermediate. Наш преподаватель Rohan (носитель языка) сделал этот курс просто фантастичным. Он отлично объясняет сложные темы простым языком и делает занятия максимально интерактивными, дав возможность каждому ученику максимально много тренироваться. Особенно хочется отметить ту позитивную атмосферу, которую Rohan создал в нашей группе. За столь короткое время, мы стали практически родными людьми. Сегодня закончила ещё один курс от данной школы. Организация, как и в прошлый раз - на высоте! На этом курсе была изюминка, кроме занятий с прекрасной Алисой, мы получили возможность заниматься с носителем языка, его зовут Rohan и он делает всё возможное, чтобы человек наконец-то начал разговаривать на английском, даже если до этого был нем, как рыба :) Сначала конечно было страшновато, что ничего не пойму, но он разговаривает как-то так, что у него понятно каждое слово. Но если что-то непонятно, очень важно задавать ему вопросы, он очень классно всё объясняет. И он мотивирует заниматься и узнавать всё больше и больше! English is the working language of international business, science and technology: meetings and conferences run in it, and most of the content on the internet is in English. Good English lets you work in an international company, study abroad and feel confident on any trip.

Corporate language courses are delivered on-site (at your office or ours) as well as on online platforms. The program is tailored to the company’s needs and the employees’ level of language knowledge. Available at any level and any format.

The course is 120 academic hours in total, split into two parts (60 hours each):
English language courses are suitable for beginners, students, professionals, and anyone who wants to improve English skills for work, studies, or everyday communication. Both online English courses and in-person classes in Riga at Pērses Street 9/11 are available.
The price for online English courses is €112, while in-person English courses in Riga cost €131. Depending on the course intensity, the program can be completed in 1.5 to 3.5 months. Courses include speaking practice, grammar, and practical English use for different skill levels.
The language barrier is a psychological obstacle, most often caused by the fear of making mistakes. The most effective way to overcome it is regular practice in a safe environment.
We recommend joining English speaking clubs. These focus on live communication and discussions, helping you get used to thinking in English and naturally removing the speaking block.
If you miss or can't make it to an online class - don't worry! All online classes are recorded on the Zoom platform, so you can watch the recording at a time that suits you.
Yes, after successfully completing the course and passing the final test, you will receive a Pygmalion certificate indicating your English level (according to the CEFR scale A1-C1).
This certificate serves as official proof of your skills and can be added to your CV or LinkedIn profile to improve your competitiveness in the job market or submitted to educational institutions.
All receipts can be submitted to tax authorities for social tax refund
